Option to hold Units in dematerialized (demat) Form

Investors can hold Units in demat form. They need a beneficiary account with a DP and must provide the DP ID and account number in the application. Names must match the beneficiary account. Only applications with matching details are valid. Incorrect demat details will invalidate the application for demat processing.

Option to convert the units held in SOA mode to Demat mode or Demat mode to Remat Mode

To hold Units in Dematerialized/Rematerialized form later, submit a Demat/Remat Request Form. Ensure names match in the account statement. Allotment in demat form follows Depositories guidelines. Units are transferable per Scheme(s)/Plan(s) and the Depositories Act. For ETFs, units are traded in dematerialized form.

Redemption by investors who hold Units in dematerialized Form

Demat unit holders will receive redemption/IDCW proceeds in their linked bank account. Requests must go through Depository Participants, not at Mutual Fund offices. Authentication processes will be followed for demat redemptions.

Switch by investors who hold Units in dematerialized Form

Special Products/Facilities such as Systematic Withdrawal Plan, Systematic Transfer Plan and Switching facility offered by Mutual Fund shall be available for unitholders under the scheme in case the units are held/opted to be held in physical (non-demat) mode.

Any Change in Investor’s Profile who holds units in denaturized Form

If investor holding units in electronic (demat) form wishes to change the bank account, or any change in his/her profile, then he needs to contact his DP (Depository Participant) and the process laid down by the DP should be followed in this regard.
